Review of High Quality Experimental Mathematics Research

The Review of High Quality Experimental Mathematics Research is a synthesis of mathematical research prepared by NCITE for the California State Board of Education. The research was conducted for the purpose of informing the Board of high quality studies in a manner that will facilitate:

• the adoption of curricular materials by the Curriculum Development and Suplemental Materials Commission,
• the revision of the California Mathematics Framework by the State Board of Education, and
• any other purpose best served by empirically established and verified research on efficient mathematics instruction.
